With 45 participants in the Novice category and 19 qualifying for the race, Akash outclassed others to win the Championship, followed by Muralidharan as first runners-up and P K Mithunkumar and second runner-up (both from Chennai).
In the open category, Manthanakumar won the race from 18 qualifiers among 25 participants, with M Sudhakar becoming first runner-up and D Dineshkumar second runner-up (both belong to Chennai).
The winners of the R15 One Make Championship will get a chance to participate in the Yamaha ASEAN Cup to be held later this year, venue of which would be decided soon.
