The couple, who will welcome their third child together later this year, have expressed an interest in the property in West Chelsea, New York, which is owned by 'Soprano's creator David Chase, reported the New York Post.
"Alec has seen the apartment at least three times, and he has been hanging out in the lobby asking residents about the building and what it's like to be there," a source said.
The 5,000 square feet property has five bedrooms, and four and a half baths but there could be one snag if Alec, 58 and Hilaria, 32, go ahead with the purchase.
