All Punjab govt websites to have voters' portal

Punjab government today directed all the Administrative Secretaries, heads of the departments and the Deputy Commissioners to ensure that National Voters' Service Portal was made available on all the official websites of the government.
Disclosing this here, an official spokesman said that the ECI has launched the National Voters' Service Portal to facilitate people in registering themselves on the electoral rolls.
The Portal is available at www.Nvsp.In which provides all services that may be required by an individual related to electoral registration - online registration, correcting entries of change in the address, linking Aadhar Number to the data, searching name on electoral roll besides printing of voter information slip ahead of the poll day.

On the directions of the ECI, this portal would be made available on all the Punjab government websites including the districts and the directorates, the spokesman added.
