Tarsem Lal (24), Kamal Sharma (17) and Irfan (19) were arrested from Tanda area of Jammu yesterday by SOG, which was to hand over their custody to local police.
Today, when the SOG team was going to hand over the accused to the Domana police, one of them, Tarsem Lal, died.
The divisional administration in Jammu has started investigations into the incident.
"Yes, there has been an incident. Deputy Commissioner just informed me and we are looking into it," Divisional Commissioner Jammu Pawan Kotwal told PTI.
