Prices of almond and pistachio ended lower at the wholesale dry fruits market in the national capital today owing to slackened demand from retailers.
Marketmen said, muted demand from retailers against adequate stocks position, mainly weighed on almond and pistachio prices.
Almond (California) eased to Rs 18,100-18,200 against last close of Rs 18,150-18,350 per 40 kg. Its kernel also shed Rs 10 to Rs 630-640 per kg.
Pistachio Hairati and Peshwari too eased by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,460-1,525 and Rs 1,600-1,650 per kg, respectively.
