Alpha Ori Technologies receives ClassNK Certification

: Alpha Ori Technologies on Thursday said it has received ClassNK certification for SMARTShip, a patented digital shipping solution.

SMARTShip, an internet of things platform, enables onboard operation of multiple systems with varying degrees of autonomy and has been installed in more than 30 vessels, a company statement said.

Commenting on securing the certification, Captain Rajesh Unni, Co-CEO of Alpha Ori Technologies said, "ClassNK is renowned globally for exceptional quality".

"Its approval provides quality and reliability assurance for SMARTShip solutions, especially to Japanese clients but also to maritime customers located around the world", he said.

The recognition has made Alpha Ori Technologies emerge as an industry leader in the field of technology and digital shipping, he said.

Alpha Ori Technologies is engaged in the operation of Internet of Things, Ship Enterprise Resource Planning and BigDATA Science, the release said.
