The 27-year-old actress's comments are a remarkable u-turn from her previous ones in which she insulted the rapper in a series of verbal attacks, reported Contactmusic.
"I am sorry about the tweets I said about Drake. I didn't mean what I said. I hope to become friends with him instead of smashing him," Bynes tweeted.
She earlier tweeted, "Drake has the ugliest smile, ugly gums uneven teeth ugly eyes," only to delete it later.
The 26-year-old hitmaker is not the only victim of Bynes' harsh remarks. R&B star Rihanna was also blasted by Bynes regarding her assault by ex-boyfriend Chris Brown in 2009.
