AMU student killed in accident on Yamuna Expressway
Press Trust of India Greater Noida An Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) student was killed and another critically injured when their motorbike was hit by a private car on Yamuna Expressway today, police said.
The two students, identified as Rashid and Manzir, were returning home when the accident took place near Jewar on Yamuna Expressway.
They were rushed to Kailash Hospital here where Rashid died soon after. Manzir was admitted to intensive care unit (ICU) at the hospital.
Police said the car driver managed to flee from the spot.
Initial investigations revealed that the students were wearing ear phones at the time of accident.
