"Anchorman 2" released 10 years after the first part and the 53-year-old actor says the third part will probably take the same time to release, reported Digital Spy.
"No, we never discussed it, but I heard in an interview (with director, Adam McKay) he mentioned that he might have an idea for 'Anchorman 3'. But it might not happen for 10 or 15 years, so take a big deep breath," Carell said.
Third movie would take Ron Burgundy and his team into the 1980s.
