The actor's daughter, Sonam, accompanied him to the event.
This was the 73rd edition of the awards. Besides Anil, Marathi actor Dilip Prabhalkar was also conferred with the honour.
Anil will be next seen in Zoya Akhtar's "Dil Dhadakne Do".
