An anonymous phone call threatening hijack of one of Air India's planes was received by the Thane-based call centre of the national carrier, sources said today.
"An anonymous caller made a phone call to the Air India call centre in Thane last night at around 11:30, threatening that one of its flight would be hijacked," Air India sources told PTI here.
The airline has filed a complaint with the Shrinagar police station in the Waghle Industrial estate of Thane following the call last night, they said.
It was a non-specific call and local police are investigating the complaint, the sources added.
