AP condoles death of Singapore's first PM Lee Kuan Yew
The Assembly observed a two-minute silence in memory of the departed soul.
Hailing Lee Kuan Yew's leadership, AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that Singapore's first Prime Minister turned around the city state from ruins after World War II and separated it from Malyasia with his far-sightedness.
Talking about ties between Andhra Pradesh and Singapore, he said that Singapore government agencies have been helping the state to draft a master plan for its core capital region near Vijayawada.
Singapore government agencies are doing the job for free without charging anything, he said.
