Vidya Sagar, who was attached to Rural Water Supply and Sanitation (RWSS) Department, has been put under arrest, the ACB said.
Details of the assets allegedly owned by him were uncovered during searches conductedby the anti-graft agency in Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam, it said.
On credible information, a case of disproportionate assets was registered against Sagar and simultaneous searches were conducted at his residences at Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam, said Lakshmi Pathi, DSP of ACB here.
During the searches,details of two plots and three flats worth over Rs 1.75 crore owned by the engineer were unearthed, the DSP said.
