AP top bureaucrat reviews division of police department

Andhra Pradesh Principal Secretary (Home) T P Das today reviewed the division of state police department as part of AP Reorganisation Bill 2014.
Das held discussions with DGP B Prasada Rao and other top police officials, including DGP (Greyhounds-Octopus) J V Ramudu, Intelligence Additional DGP Mahender Reddy, CID Additional DGP T Krishna Prasad among others on the division of different wings of the department and police personnel, besides assets between Telangana and the residuary Andhra Pradesh state.
Telangana will officially become 29th state on June 2.
At the review meeting held at DGP office here, Das also discussed the implications of division and also heard opinions of senior police officials.
The AP Police Chief Prasada Rao had recently said that the process of division of police personnel and infrastructure had began with the formation of committees at government-level and stock-taking process was on with regards to personnel working, assets (infrastructure) as well as the position of the files.
