According to a press release issued by the government, the Deputy CM today held discussions with Arvind Mayaram, Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs, Rakesh Mohan, Joint Secretary and PK Sharma, Under Secretary in this regard.
"The state government is holding consultations with AP government as well as the Centre in this regard. Besides, the government is also mulling ways and means to protect the assets of Wakf Board and also increase its income," the release said.
Ali had earlier called on Union Minority Affairs Minister Najma Heptullah at Delhi and apprised her of the situation.
