From the commencement of the project on February 1 till March 31 this year, at a budget of one quarter of Rs 50 lakh, a total number of 3,73,134 documents of former State of Hyderabad from 1846 onwards and that of AP GOs from 1920 have been scanned/microfilmed and digitised, Zareena Parveen, Director of the State Archives said.
"They will be uploaded into the server proposed for this project and the digitisation of the entire work will be programmed into software with an aim to create digital library and web-enabled service," Parveen said.
