Cable operators should deposit a sum of Rs 500 per box as advance and they will be supplied based on "first-come-first- serve" basis, an official release here said.

The last date to deposit advance was October 25, it said.

Started in the previous DMK regime in the face of a split in the party's first family involving its chief M Karunanidhi and his grandnephews, Kalanidhi and Dayanidhi Maran, Arasu Cable TV went dormant after the relatives patched up.

AIADMK supremo and Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had revived it after her party assumed power last year.
