ARC Shillong wins Football trophy

Assam Regimental Centre (ARC), Shillong won the 1st All India Anu Anand Prize Money Football Championship defeating Raj Milk Football Club, Patna by a couple of goals here at the Moin-ul-haque stadium today.
In an action packed first session, the hosts started on a positive note and in the second minute of the game, Biswajeet Das and Sabbir Chowdhury combined well and went inside, but failed to take lead.
Till the end of first half, score was 0-0.
In the second half, the first goal came in the 75th minute when the ARC trio Somorjit, Amarjit and Bobychand made a move to the opponent's goal

Somorjit converted it to a goal getting a pass from Bobychand beating both defenders and before placing the ball into the net.
C Lalmalsawma sealed the fate of Raj Milk in the 82nd minute by a solo effort ending the game 2-0.
Bihar minister Dulal Chand Goswami gave away the prizes to the winners and runners. The winners bagged a cash prize of Rs 1,01,000 and the runners up team got Rs 51,000 cash along with trophies.
