Marketmen said increased buying by retailers following a pickup in demand helped select pulses to trade moderately higher.
In the national capital, arhar and dal arhar dara traded Rs 50 each higher at Rs 7,150-7,250 and Rs 8,550-8,750 per quintal respectively.
In line with overall trends, urad and its dal chilka local also recovered by Rs 50 each to Rs 8,050-8,550 and Rs 8,950-9,150 per quintal, respectively.
Gram, gramdal (local) and best quality were up by Rs 30 each at Rs 4,530-5,230, Rs 4,830-5,030 and Rs 4,930-5,230 per quintal respectively .
