The character of Krang, the villain, originated in the '80s Turtles cartoon, where he was played by veteran voice actor Pat Fraley.
Other new characters joining the cast include Casey Jones (Amell), scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry), mutants Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE wrestler Sheamus) and Karai (Brittany Ishibashi), reported Entertainment Weekly.
Brian Tee will also make his debut as Shredder in the sequel.
Directed by David Green and co-produced by Michael Bay, the movie will hit theaters on June 3.
