During the camp, which was organised to commemorate the 250th anniversary of Army Medical Corps, a team of Army doctors, including specialists from Head Quarters Northern Command and Crossed Swords Division rendered medical care to the local population of the area.
"Medical aid in the form of free medicines, consultation, antenatal facilities and counselling regarding HIV and family planning was provided during the camp," an official spokesman said.
The event was inaugurated by Lt Gen K R Salgotra, VSM, DCIDS (Med) in the presence of General Officer Commanding Crossed Swords Division and a number of senior Army Medical Corps Officers.
