A massive fire broke out in a slum cluster in south Delhi's Defence Colony area this evening, gutting around 150 jhuggis.
No casualty has been reported in the incident, a fire department official said.
"We received a call about the fire at 4.15 PM. As many as eight fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames," the official said.
The reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained, he said, adding that some plastic and wood kept in an open yard in the area could have fuelled the fire.
