A Memorandum of Understanding was signed today for its implementation between the State Department of Information Technology and Communications and consultants Ernst & Young (EY), in presence of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Chief Secretary Satya Gopal and other officials here.
Director, IT & C Neelam Yapin Tana signed the MoU on behalf of the state government while EY was represented by its Engagement Partner Prakash Jayaram, an official communiqu said.
EYs Core Delivery Team headed by Programme Manager Nimish Gupta will work with the government and the NIC to give a concrete shape to the 'Dashboard' and make it functional.
Congratulating the IT department, especially its Secretary Sonam Chombay, Special Secretary Prince Dhawan and Director Neelam Yapin Tana, the chief minister termed the milestone as another giant step towards Digital Arunachal Mission.
Khandu expressed satisfaction that the initiative was at last taking shape, which would be a game-changer in the history of the state in context of governance.
This Dashboard is an initiative to monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPI) of various departments online through a single-fit window. It will bring in transparency and better accountability which will enable effective decision making in quicker time period.'It will account for true reflections what is shown and what is actually happening," he said.
