State Health and Family Welfare Minister Rajesh Tacho in a memorandum to Union Health Minister J P Nadda on Wednesday also sought a one-time central assistance for development of five upgraded general hospitals in the state, an official communique said here today.
Tacho also informed him about the recent outbreak of Dengue and Japanese Encephalitis (JE) in the state and sought support to combat the diseases.
The Union minister has assured full support to all the issues brought to his notice and expressed his desire to visit the state in late August this year.
He also sought support in establishing a separate directorate for AYUSH in order to streamline the Ayurvedic system in the state.
