Pipersenia hoped the session would bringing insights into how the various stakeholders can work together to take forward the Sustainable Development Goals within the context of Assam.
The conclave is an ONGC-UNDP-Government of Assam initiative organised jointly by the Assam Planning and Development Department, Centre for SDGs and Assam Administrative Staff College here.
There was a technical session which included mapping and integration of CSR projects with SDGs, creating institutional platforms for integrating SDGs and CSR and to explore the possibilities for adopting the Chief Minister's Samagra Gram Unnayan Yojana (MMS-CMSGUY), an SDG centric scheme for doubling farm income of the farmers of Assam by 2021-22 within the corporate framework through CSR projects.
