Atali limping back to normal

Atali village, which was rocked by a communal clash on May 25, is returning to normal with no untoward incident being reported from the area in the past two days.
Both the communities settled their disputes amicably following mediation by local MP and Union minister Krishan Pal Gurjar and Prithla MLA Tekchand Sharma.
About 100 people, who had taken refuge in a relief camp at Ballabgarh police station since the night of the incident, have returned home.
Villagers have started going to their fields for farming and there was no untoward incident in the past two days.
SHO Chainsa Preetpal said the situation in the village is totally under control and the environment is returning to the state it previously used to be.

He also informed that the wall of the mosque which was demolished in the incident has been re-constructed.
At least five persons were injured and around 15 houses gutted after a clash erupted between the two communities over construction of a religious structure on May 25.
