"Attempts to legitimise the act of killing have re-doubled since May 2014 following the coming to power of new regime in New Delhi, she said while introducing her book "Beyond Doubt - A Dossier on Gandhi's Assassination" at a function organised by Solidarity Youth Movement, at the press club here.
The act was a declaration of war against the secular, democratic Indian state and all those who stood to affirm these principles, she said, adding, the book aims to contextualise the politics, motivations and circumstances behind the assassination.
Answering a question on Narendra Modi whether she finds any change after his becoming the Prime Minister from the Chief Minister of Gujarat, she said "time will change".
