AWES Cup Football: FC Pune Citylose 1-3 to Dempo SC

FC Pune Citylost their thirdgame 1-3 against Dempo SC in the AWES Cuphereat Tilak Maidan Sunday.

The first half was balanced with both sides holding fort in their halves. Both clubs had no clear chance on the goal and the first half ended with a 0-0 scoreline.

The second half was action-packed and constant pressure from Dempo paid dividends with the side going 3-0 up in a span of just 12 minutes.

The first goal was by Mario Mascarenhas in the 56th minute while six minutes later, Jessel Carneiro doubled Dempos' lead in the 62nd minute.

Latesh Madrekar made it 3-0 for Dempo in the 68th minute.

FC Pune Citypulled back onein the 77th minute viaJakob Vanlalhlimpuia and the match ended with a 3-1 scoreline in favour of Dempo.

In the run up to the fifth edition of the Indian Super League, which begins September 29, Pune City FC has been training in Goa.
