Babajob ramps up leadership team, appoints two V-Ps

Marketplace for job-seekers in the unorganised sector, Babajob today announced expansion of its leadership team with appointment of two vice-presidents and a head of product division.
The company said it has appointed Harsha S N as senior vice-president of engineering, Giridharan Natarajan head of product and Akshat Kansal vice-president of engineering.
Harsha and Akshat will lead the technology development solutions while Giri will lead the product agenda, it said in a release.
"We are in an exciting space where the technology and ecosystem is at an inflection point, with a unique challenge of having to be able to provide a simple yet, effective interaction point to the next billion across the technology spectrum," Babajob Chief Business Officer Bharani Setlur said.
In his new role as the senior VP of engineering at Babajob, Harsha will be bringing his wealth of experience to lead the technology vertical of the company. Prior to his latest appointment, he was assistant vice-president, engineering, Sourcebits, the release said.
It said Giridharan, an alumnus of IIM Bangalore, will be driving product and innovation. He joins Babajob from Simplilearn where he was heading the product vertical.
Akshat Kansal, as vice-president of engineering, will be responsible for defining and executing the overall infrastructure, development, operations (DevOps) and scaling activity. In his last assignment, he was a DevOps leader for a start-up, it added.
