He also asked officials to carry out an elaborate survey of the flood-hit areas and prepare an estimate of the loss to property. Reviewing preparations for the upcoming Kanwariya fair in the district, Bahuguna asked officials to take all necessary steps for their smooth conduct.
Haridwar DM Nidhi Pandey said a total of 5,472 families in 166 villages of the district were affected and relief amount of Rs 1,39,07,980 have already been distributed among 2271 people.
