The VVIP guest arrived in the Pink City by a special plane at the Jaipur Airport here.
Rajasthan Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Arun Chaturvedi, senior IAS officer Ajit Kumar, DGP Omendra Bhardwaj, Divisional Commissioner Hanuman Singh Bhati and other officers presented flower bouquets to the president and his visiting team, according to an official spokesman here.
Later Hamid left by chopper for Ajmer, to pay his obeisance at the historic shrine of sufi saint Khawaja Moinuddin Chisti there.
