The youth, identified as Aunik Arnold Dhali, a student of International Relations, was to take a flight to Dhaka on December 15. But he went missing from there, following which his friends approached the police and the Bangladesh High Commission here, said a Delhi Police official.
The case took a new turn today when Dhali's friends came across a Facebook post in which Dhali claimed that is safe and is at present at Manali in Himachal Pradesh. However, when his friends tried to contact him, they couldn't, said the official.
The police are looking for the missing youth and actions will be taken as per legal provisions, said Deputy Commissioner of Police (IGI) D K Gupta.
