Following the District Magistrate's order, the authorities yesterday seized the accounts of the Gram Pradhans.
The Gram Panchayat heads have failed to submit accounts report of development work in their areas, District Panchayat Raj Officer (DPRO) Harikesh Bahadur said.
"They have not submitted the work certificates which contains the detailed reports of expenditure incurred upon the development work in villages and total work done", said Bahadur.
These include 30 Gram Panchayats in Budhana block, 15 in Khatauli block, 11 in Baghra block, 5 in Shahpur block and remaining ones in Charthawal, Purkazi and Morna blocks.
