Bank manager looted of Rs 3.25 lakh

A bank manager was looted of Rs 3.25 lakh by two unindentified armed bike-borne robbers when he was going to deposit the cash at his branch here, police said.
Praveen Kumar Jain, who was travelling by his scooter, was attacked near Sabdalpur by the accused. They looted Rs 3 lakh, which belonged to the bank, and the rest, which was Jain's personal cash, ASP Sanjay Singh said.
The cash was kept in the boot of Jain's scooter. They also took the key's of the vehicle so that the victim could not inform the police, he said.
A case has been registered at the Kutubesher police station. Teams have been pressed into action to nab the perpetrators, the ASP said.
