The 93-year-old BJP stalwart passed away at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) here last evening after a prolonged illness.
Last night, his body was taken to his official residence on Krishna Menon Marg.
The mortal remains were taken to the Bharatiya Janata Party's national headquarters at Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg this morning. They were later carried on a decorated gun carriage to Smriti Sthal where his last rites were performed.
