The industrial metal was trading lower at the LME, with traders taking profits from a four-session winning streak, but tight physical supply underpinned prices.
Nickel dipped by Rs 10 per kg to Rs 1,000 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 990.
Copper armature and copper sheet cutting climbed by Rs 4 per kg each to Rs 486 and Rs 480 from Rs 482 and Rs 476.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and brass utensils scrap all looked up by Rs 3 per kg each to Rs 506, Rs 498, Rs 460, Rs 534 and Rs 347 from Rs 503, Rs 495, Rs 457, Rs 531 and Rs 344.
Aluminium ingots and aluminium utensils scrap inched-up by Re 1 per kg each to Rs 148 and Rs 124, respectively.
However, lead softened by Re 1 per kg to Rs 133.
