Wild World will be released in September and will be accompanied by a 20-date UK and US tour, including two dates at Chelmsford's V Festival in August, reported Digital Spy.
The rockers - who performed a well received Glastonbury set at Worthy Farm last week - announced the long-awaited news on Twitter:
"We have been working non-stop on Wild World for the last few years and are so excited for you to finally hear it in a few months," said singer/songwriter Dan Smith.
The 14- track album will follow up the band's smash 2013 debut Bad Blood, following the release of their first Wild World track, 'Good Grief' last month.
