The accused, who was at present residing at a colony in Dharuhera in this district, had allegedly raped the minor girl, a resident of the colony, at a deserted place in a park of the area on Monday night, police said.
He was arrested today and produced before the Duty Magistrate here, who remanded him in a 14-day judicial custody.
Earlier the police had registered a case of rape and booked him under other provisions of the law on a complaint filed yesterday by the victim's mother.
