The 34-year-old R&B superstar brought along some of the women featured in the short film to join her at the ceremony.
The mothers of Mike Brown, Trayvon Martin, Eric Garner, and Oscar Grant, who were all killed at the hands of police, stood by Beyonce's side as they posed for photographers at the Madison Square Garden ceremony here.
All the women, except for Grant's mother, appeared in "Lemonade" holding up photographs of their deceased sons.
They were joined by other "Lemonade" stars, her pop protegees Chloe x Halle, model Winnie Harlow, and actress Quvenzhane Wallis.
