The 32-year-old singer and Jay Z have been facing split rumours for sometime and Beyonce used the platform to put such stories to the rest.
Jay Z also brought their daughter Blu Ivy to the show where Beyonce performed all the hits from her latest album, Beyonce.
Dressed in a bejeweled bodysuit, Beyonce opened her performance with an interlude from 'Mine', sang 'Haunted', 'Jealous', 'Blow', 'Drunk in Love', 'Rocket', 'Partition', 'Flawless', 'Yonce', 'Blue' and 'XO'.
Jay Z and Blue Ivy came onstage to present her with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
"Thank you and good night!," she said.
Beyonce, who was leading with eight nominations, also won the best collaboration with Jay Z for 'Drunk in Love', best video with social message for 'Pretty Hurts' and best cinematography for 'Pretty Hurts'.
