"Bharat Parv will be organised at Red Fort from January 26 to 31 on the occasion of Republic Day," Union Tourism Minister Mahesh Sharma said in a tweet.
Last year, the government had organised a similar festival at Red Fort on the occasion of Republic Day and at the Rajpath lawns as part of Independence Day celebrations.
Highlights of the festival, which aims to generate patriotic mood and promote the rich cultural diversity of the country, include food festival, crafts mela and cultural performances from different regions of the country, an official said.
The Ministry of Tourism has been designated as the nodal ministry for the event.
