Scrip of the country's largest mobile operator surged 5.51 per cent to Rs 373.90 -- its 52-week high on the BSE.
On the NSE, the stock jumped 5.74 per cent to touch a one-year peak of Rs 374.30.
The stock was the top gainer among the blue-chips on both Sensex and Nifty during the morning trade.
Bharti Airtel had yesterday reported a 60.9 per cent rise in consolidated net profit during the first quarter of the current fiscal to Rs 1,108 crore on higher growth from mobile data business.
The company's total revenue rose 13.3 per cent to Rs 22,962 crore in the reported quarter as compared to Rs 20,264 crore in the corresponding period last year.
"Consolidated mobile data revenues at Rs 2,204 crore grew 73.9 per cent year-on-year, consistently contributing more than one-third of the incremental revenues," the company said.
