The state BJP on Sunday constituted separate disciplinary committees for Jammu and Kashmir region to ensure "activist satisfaction" and deeper working of the organisation in the state.

The committees were formed at a meeting in consultation with national vice president and state in-charge Avinash Rai Khanna to regularise the party affairs by attending to the grievances of the party leaders and activists in a constructive atmosphere, BJP state president Sat Sharma said.

The Jammu region disciplinary committee would include Shiv Kumar Gupta, Som Raj Khajuria, N D Rajwal, Vijay Sharma and Parimoksh Seth as its members, he said.

While the Kashmir disciplinary committee would include Narinder Singh, Yudhvir Sethi and Drakshana Andrabi as its members, Sharma said.

"Both the committees have been entrusted with the responsibility of taking the level of activist satisfaction to the maximum and ensure a greater depth of work on the part of the organisation," he added.
