BJP gave a final shape to its mass training programme at a workshop of party leaders which concluded here today.
The party leaders who attended the three-day workshop would help train its 15 lakh workers and develop a team of dedicated cadre for improved communication within.
BJP aims at training its workers on the party culture and ideology and help strengthen the organisation to make it more active and improve the communication between the party and the government as well as the common man.
This workshop was attended by 352 leaders and inaugurated by party president Amit Shah.
A host of party leaders including general secretaries Ram Lal, Ram Madhav, Muralidhar Rao and vice presidents Shyam Jaju, Avinash Rai Khanna and Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, besides union Minister Prakash Javadekar, provided vital tips to the party workers and leaders during the session.
BJP has adopted a three-fold programme to strengthen its organisation across the country which started with 'Maha Sadasyata Abhiyan' (membership drive), followed by 'Maha Jan Sampark Abhiyan' (mass contact programme) and now 'Maha Prashikshan Abhiyan' (mass training programme).
During the training, party leaders will not just be told about the BJP's history but will be inspired to help in nation building and will be informed about various social issues and cultural history of the country.
Shah, while inaugurating the workshop, had said that the party's aim is not to form governments but change the face of the country and develop it with the strength of the party's ideology and thoughts.
He wanted the workers to spread the party ideology and participate in the nation building process. He also called for an outreach towards every single worker by party leaders that will activate and energise every single well-wisher to become a dynamic party activist.
Muralidhar Rao said the party will first train workers at the national level and then at the state level. He noted that party workers without compromising on the ideology can set the political agenda of the country.
