"Giving ticket to a person involved in the secret killing of several people cannot be accepted by the Assamese people and BJP state president Sarbananda Sonowal and leader Himanta Biswa Sarma must render public apology to the state," the outfit's Publicity Secretary Arunodoy Asom said in an e-mailed statement.
The ULFA(I) had earlier asked the BJP not to nominate Bhaskar Sarma from Margherita for his alleged involvement in 'secret killings' but he got the party ticket.
The outfit also demanded that BJP central leadership give information on the whereabouts of 26 ULFA youths who are missing since the Operation All Clear in Bhutan in 2003.
The statement also asked the party leadership to make public the alleged conspiracy hatched by Sonowal and Himanta Biswa Sarma at the residence of party President Amit Shah to "endanger and destroy" the identity of the Assamese people and their culture.
