BJP state unit president Sarbananda Sonowal adressing the party cadres at a demonstration here said the issue of inflation would be taken up by BJP in Parliament during the winter session beginning tomorrow.
"There is massive price rise across the state and the Tarun Gogoi government has failed to take any steps to check it."
FDI in multi-brand retail would deprive thousands of their livelihood, espesially among kirana shop keepers, he said and lambasted the UPA government for its role in the coal block allocation issue.
"BJP is the only viable alternative. We assure a clean and progressive administration," Sonowal claimed at the demonstration which was participated by party national vice-president and Lok Sabha MP Bijoya Chakravarty among others.
