BJP ward member beats up Junior Engineer of JVVNL

Bharatiya Janta Party ward member of Rangbadi area and nephew of BJP MLA Phralad Gunjal, Om Gunjal was booked for allegedly beating up a junior engineer of Jaipur Vidut Vitran Nigam Limited (JVVNL)in Mahaveer Nagar area of Kota city.
The BJP ward member allegedly thrashed the JEN late last night while he was on duty to mend the eletric poll fault.
Junior Engineer of JVVNL Mohammed Akram Khan posted under AEN A 6 late last night lodged complaint against Om Gunjal for allegedly thrashing and beating up him while he was in Rangbadi area to mend an electric fault with his team, told Kaluram Verma, SHO Mahaveernagar police station.

On the complaint by the JEN, a case was lodged against Om Gunjal for beating up and interfering into government work, the SHO said adding further investigation into the matter is on, however, no arrest has been made so far.
JEN Mohammed Akram Khan told the electric supply was halted last night in Rangbadi area after heavy winds blew around 10 pm and he along with his team had gone to check the fault.
While he was at an electric pillar in Ranbadi area around 11.30 pm, Om Gunjal along with two of his aides came and pulled his left arm causing bone fracture and beat him up, he alleged.

"I have sustained fracture in my left arm," he said adding the BJP ward member was angry over failure in mending to electric supply in the area.
Police from Mahaveer nagar police station said Om Gunjal is a BJP ward member from Rangbadi area and is nephew of BJP MLA Phralad Gunjal.
