Block Development Committee member's husband shot dead

Ramdhani Verma was shot dead near Makanpur village in indiscriminate firing by some persons when he was moving in his jeep along with another BDC member and two others, they said.

Police said Ramdhani's driver and two others were injured in the firing.

Ramdhani's wife and BDC member Sunita Verma has lodged an FIR against block head Ramrati, Jagdev, Vasudev, Devnath and Kailash in this connection.
