Thirteen Maoists, including a woman, were killed in an encounter between security personnel and the extremists at Silakota forest under Padia block of Malkangiri district on the Odisha-Chhattishgarh border on September 14.
Earlier, five bodies were identified by around 40 villagers from Marigeta panchayat. Those identified are: Padia Padiami, Ram Kabasi, Irma Padiary, Mangala Padiami and Rama Urmami.
"All the slain Maoists hailed from Marigeta region and were members of Kalimela Dalam," SP Akhileshwar Singh said.
