Bodies of three soldiers killed in avalanches arrive in Nagpur

The bodies of three sepoys who were killed in an avalanche in Gurez and Machhil sectors, arrived at the Air Force Station at Sonegaon here this evening.
The bodies of Sanju Suresh Khandare and Anand Gawai were taken to their native place in Akola, nearly 250 kms from Nagpur, by road for the last rites, a release issued by Defence PRO said.
While that of Balaji Bhagwanrao Ambore has been kept at military hospital Kamptee and will be taken to his hometown in Parbhani, it added.
Around 20 army jawans were killed in avalanche in Jammu and Kashmir over the last few days.
